PROLOGUE

March 3, 2001 - Most people say that doubting Thomas was a fool. I say he was wise. He never believed in anything until he really experienced it with his own senses. Life is simple with this idea in mind. Coincidences are just coincidences. Destiny is what you make it to be. And fate is simply non-existent. All my life I have followed this road. Straight, long and narrow.

Today is my 21st birthday. I have my family. I have my friends. My future is in one clear direction.

Everything was as it shouldn't be.

Today, what i've seen, what i've heard and what i've experienced was in a tangent. I saw what others will say as ghosts. I saw what others will interpret as visions. I have experienced something which my five senses cannot comprehend. I have experienced something beyond my understanding.

The road I have been taking all my life, straight, long and narrow, now has forks, bumps and intersections. I guess I now have to make choices. Well, at least I still choose my own destiny.
